    Not sure about the temperature thing. It is a good idea to move em around when you candle just in case there is a hot spot. I've done several hatches and curiosity still gets the best of me. It's always the longest 21 days.

    I usually candle on the 7th day. If you set on Tuesday at 7 pm then candle the following Tuesday at 7 pm or after. That would be 7 full days.     I have 38 eggs in the incubator. 20 of my australorps and 18 barred rocks of a friend of mine. Just checking fertility in mine and not sure what his are gonna do since their so young. Hope to get 38 chicks but doubting it. They are due to hatch on the 7th.
