That is exactly how ours were acting, we put a golf ball in each nest box.. and they laid in there, first eggs yesterday and today golf balls kicked out LOL Not sure if the golf balls made a difference but didn't hurt. Good luck- JuJu32901

Our wait is over!! We got our first two eggs today at exactly 21 weeks . First to deliver Black Eye Doodle our Black Austrolorp , not to be out done BabyDoll our Welsummer followed and both are perfect eggs layed in the nesting boxes . Who else is waiting for that first egg?
Ours are 19 weeks and the anticipation is unbelievable. We have 1 each of the following Buff Orpington, Welsummer, Easteregger, black Austrolorp, Silkie blue, and an accidental bearded black Silkie rooster.- JuJu32901
