Oh both of my Brahmas help themselves to the oyster shell but for some reason both just took extra long to mature. I'm hoping their eggs will get bigger but for now I'm happy I got one to start laying if nothing else!
These 2 of my hold outs that I don't expect to lay this year... they are about 28/29 weeks and are definitely pullets but neither seem in much of a hurry to lay... ah well I guess we'll just keep on waiting for that first egg from them..
