    Congrats on your first eggs!!! Isn't it fun? The littlest eggs taste just as good as the big ones. We got our first eggs this week. Even had a double yolked one. And they were all delicious!

    My leghorns are obviously doing the laying, My RIR don't seem near as ready as the Leghorns. No reddening of the comb or wattle at all. Hoping the one Leghorn doing the laying will get the others motivated to lay

    We have EGG! It's a pee wee, but it's a start It sure is a pretty egg. Our Leghorn and RIR hens are from TSC and we think they are about 18-20 weeks old.

    We have game cams in ours. That's only because webcams don't work well on our place. Distance and internet being issues.

    My hens are 18-20 weeks along (12 Leghorns + 3 RIR). Many of them have the redder combs and wattles and have grown in size hee past two weeks and my two roosters are acting "froggy" ( you know interested in the hens). I'm hoping all this means eggs are getting close. I envy those getting eggs...

    Hello. My name is Lisa and I too have first egg anticipation anxiety. My hens are almost 18 weeks old, 3 RIR and 13 Leghorns.
