Who else is waiting for that first egg?

That's a nice size egg. I like the little thing on the end it gives the egg character. My eggs have been normal except for one soft shelled egg. I think the weird eggs are the coolest.

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

Ok I added some EE to my golden comets this evening. I know there will be a disruption in egg laying for both of the flocks. My question is how long can I expect a disruption from my golden comets? Also how many eggs a week can I expect from each of the EE's?

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

Two of my girls have been laying for two weeks and the other three are still not showing any signs of being close. Combs and waddles are red but still very very short and no squatting at all. All hatched the same day and are now 27 weeks old. By the way all are GC

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

I got my first egg yesterday when I got home. I checked this morning before I came to work and I had another one. Not sure if I have two laying or if the one is laying as soon as she comes off the roost. Either way I'm excited about getting my first eggs.

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

After getting my GC girls home almost 4 weeks ago after being told they were already laying and noticing within a few hours the combs were at best pale pink. So I'm sure I was lied to since I haven't had an egg yet. Today I noticed this hen and two others are starting to get some red in the comb...

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

I really don't know how most of you have waited months for eggs and I'm having a problem waiting for weeks. This is like waiting for a baby to be born. Not as much anticipation but still a lot of worrying about if I'm feeding them correctly and if I'm giving them enough water and if they have...

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

Man it's killing me to keep waiting. As soon as I get home from work I go straight to the laying boxes and check. Then I start checking all around inside the run to see if one might be out there. Then when I get up in the mornings I go open the house up so they can get into the run I eat...

Who else is waiting for that first egg?

Hi all new here and have questions. I'm waiting for my chickens to lay that first egg. When I purchased them a week ago I was told they were laying but so far nothing. I checked the pelvic bones and two of them I can get 2 finger between the pelvic bones but the other 3 only one finger. First...
