    Many antibiotics will work *if* it's a bacterial infection, but the hard part is in picking the right one. Coughing could also be a sign of a parasite infection, and to treat that, one needs a wormer like Safeguard. Coughing could also be from a fungal infection and antibiotics won't treat...
