    Absolutely! I can see now how difficult it is to identify at such an early age. I've seen every possible outcome in the answers! I will post updated pics in a few weeks, and see if the responses change & once confirmed, I'll post again! This is quite a learning experience!

    Oh dear. I already have a roo, and 2 older cockerels, now these. I can have max 2 Roos (I have 10 adult hens, 2 pullets at 6 weeks & now maybe 4 of this group are pullets). That would be 18 hens if all goes well. Which of the cockerels to keep... Sigh

    Blue Copper Marans chicks pullets or cockerels?

    Hi all, These are supposed to be 2 Blue Copper Marans pullets. The lighter one has a a light pink to her comb already at just under 3 weeks. The darker one's comb is black - I presume it'll change, but at what age? I know it's early but is there any way to identify sex on them?
