OH I do see the red wood. When my chicks were I nailed a couple broads together and set them on the inside of the door of my run to keep them in and give me time to get theu the door without stepping on any ot any getting out. Very nice run. Can you dig in a landscape timber or other board to make a dam to catch the erosion? Eventually making a step or at least requiring less frequent cleaning- 5Sons Coop
