What about garlic? Garlic has antibiotic properties, perhaps you could smush a clove into the water- it wont hurt the chick at all, and might help the turkey if the cord is not healing well. How is the leg? I'm so sorry - poor little guy.

All I would know to do is pretty much what you are doing. Keep them warm, food and water nearby, I think the sugar water should give them a little boost. A vit/electrolyte mix in the water would probably be the best thing at this point. Are they eating or drinking on their own? It may be...
