When did your Black Australorps start to lay?
No comb yet, probably means it's a hen. My roos got nice combs starting only a few weeks old, (maybe 8-10)? Also, mine are a few months younger than yours and my roosters are already crowing often. Give your hens time, they will lay.- BB Hood

From what I have heard... BA vs BJG what colour are the legs? Black = Black Australorp. Yellow = Jersey Giant.- BB Hood
