Well, I'm able to replenish my own flock for myself, and sell a few chick's too. I graduated to a bigger incubator last year.

I always wait a bit on that with mine, but I do break up tiny pieces of some bread crumbs for them. They get to where they will take it from your fingers, but every now and then one might get over eager, so watch out for pecked fingers. Later on when they are a bit older try a little bit of...

He's still not sleeping well even in the easy chair, so now he's thinking of getting one of those foam filled water beds. Yes, because it's someplace where they can run to hide in too.

My hubby went in for his first checkup after his back surgery yesterday. He's still sleeping in the easy chair though, because he said that he can't get comfortable sleeping in the bed and causes pain. I can't see him having to sleep in the easy chair for the rest of his life? My flock is still...

I'm not getting any rain right now, but it's pretty cloudy. I'm enjoying the cooler weather while we still have it. It's nice to not have to run the air-conditioning or heater during the daytime.

She's a Welsh Harlequin. I named her Miss Gabby Quack-Quack. Edited to mention just now. All 3 duck's are now gone to a new home that has other duck's there. They will have more room there too, so they should be happier.

Maybe that's why. I hope nobody gets upset and reports it. That could mean a problem for them maybe. My female duck finally layed her first egg today. I was wondering if she was ever going to lay. I just got done scrambling up 10 eggs and mixed in some wet feed for them all.
