I most probably lost all of my second batch. Power went down on the second day of lockdown... I'll check the eggs tonight.

@MandyMusshafen I don't intervene unless it's an emergency. If the chick is still moving around in there, leave it be for the time being.

If it's any comfort, I lost power for three days last year and the eggs made it through just fine. And then my incubator malfunctioned at lockdown and fried them all!!!!! :mad:

WEEEEEEEE! New incubator arrived!!! :wee Daughter is picking up my hatching eggs after work today. I am not waiting until the 9th to put them in, lol! So, I'll be a bit early. Setting 24 eggs. And I may have ordered another incubator... :oops:

I'm hoping to get a new incubator by the time limit, and have eggs lined up for when it gets here.

Exactly. My car is an ice-encrusted snowbank right now, I don't expect it to thaw out until April! :lau
