It could have something stuck in its nostrils (nares). Kinda like a big booger. If there is a light behind the duckling you can see straight through their nostrils to the light. You can hold each one up amd check to see if there is something stuck in one of their nostrils
I don't know anyone that would ship just one duckling. :confused:
I'm sorry you're feeling regretful, we have all been there. Once they are grown you will probably love having them and watching their goofiness. If you get males you will probably be able to rehome them.

Hmm, that could be a problem for you. Not to promote breaking laws, but I have seen people just do what they want as long as the neighbors don't care. Sometimes they get away with other time they don't. When they don't it's usually from a neighbor complaining.
Congratulations on the eggs. 2 eggs in one day is possible. Usually it takes 24 hours to lay an egg, but sometimes you get two eggs or soft shelled eggs when they first start laying. It doesn't mean they are white layers.
