Ok, thank you. I didn't even realize I had bought "flakes* until I poured it in. It couldn't be any dustier when poured!

Mine have been consuming crushed oyster shell...the type that looks like white grit. The brand I buy was out so I bought "flaked" oyster shell instead. Does it matter which one we use? Is one option better than the other?
