And I set them on the roost next to the other birds so they weren't huddled up on the one little section of the roost away from every one else I had it adult bird younger bird adult bird younger bird and so on
I don't use the fence I toss them in and they fight and work it out and then by the end of the day they are calmed down a bit but still get into it every once in a while
Does anyone no if my hen is going broody my laid an egg a couple of hours ago and when we got back from my grams she wasn't up on the roost with every one else she was on the floor sitting on her egg so is she going broody or what thanks
Ya but all breeds are really aware of things except for a few breeds but as long as they are secure they will be fine so if you would consider getting buff orpingtons as I am not trying to change your mind but as Mrs. K said barred rocks don't go broody often
