    I see pink, plum and purple eggs on that chart that isn't the real color of the eggs. I think the only eggs those colors are some South American breeds that aren't available in the US and perhaps some Croad Langshans only available in the UK. Just because a breed is supposed to lay a dark egg...

    No, they're all first generation. the olive egger pullets are from the same pairing. If you notice the penedesenca eggs are various shades. I assume the pullets laying the darker olive are applying more brown pigment just like the ones laying the darker brown eggs.

    Black Penedesenca and olive eggs. Olive eggers came from crossing a black penedesenca rooster and an ameraucana hen.
