    1. Don't use chicken wire on the run (it rusts quickly and doesn't keep predators out), it's better to use chain link or welded wire. 2. Don't buy a prefabricated coop. They are too small. 3. Always build bigger than what you think you need.

    They can be prone to crop or laying problems (bred for production), mine get along fine with other breeds. They are friendly :D

    That straight run = mostly cockerels (for my dad) That chickens are addicting (for me :gig) That chickens only laid one egg a day each, if even that... Cartoons distorted this thought... And more I'll think of later...
