This is my first flock (4 BO and 4 BR), and I couldn't be happier with them! Great egg layers (although, I'd love some colorful eggs in the future), overall no major health issues (except one of the BR has a minor bumblefoot that I'm treating - she's a chunky gal, and low on the pecking order...

That's a lovely basket of eggs! At the moment, I have Buff Orps and Barred Rocks - their eggs look VERY similar. Next spring I'm planning to add some COLOR - an olive layer, a couple blue layers, a cream layer, and a dark brown layer - I can't wait!!
