Thanks! She's very petite and quiet. So lovey, too. I think she'll get more mottling as she grows up. Her mom got most of her mottling when she was around a year old.

I have 5 houdan x silkie eggs in the incubator right now! I'll post pics in 2 1/2 weeks. This is my second attempt with this cross. First time didn't go so well but I used a broody hen then. All five are fertilized and progressing nicely.

Thank you! I think so, too!!! None of the babies made it unfortunately. I tried desperately to save the one pictured, Pearl the Penguin, but she finally gave up yesterday morning. I don't think I'll be trying that mix again. =( I was so looking forward to seeing what they would look like...
