He eveauntlly found a Ohikiki hen, and when he brought Gryphon, turns out HE was a PUREBREED OHIKI TOO! :P)

After months of carrying the chick, talking to it, and raising it by hand it turned out it was a rooster! a very sweet one too

When Dan woke up to put the chick under his mama, she was no where, Dan, not wanting to face the fact she died and figured she flew off, decided to hand raise the chick!

He climbed under his shirt and cheeped, and snuggled up to sleep

But that night, while Dan was crying, the baby chick walked to him, its eyes big, it snuggled next to him
