So sorry! I keep mine in a brooder inside our enclosed porch or the garage until they are 6 weeks old and have all of their feathers. Then I move them out to the coop outside.

[/IMG][/IMG] My silkies are here! They were shipped yesterday and we picked them up from the PO at 8am today. So far all 8 silkies and 8 mystery males are alive and well.

I just ordered 8 silkies in red, white, blue, and black from Ideal. I am somewhat nervous as to how they will turn out after reading this thread. I know they aren't going to be SQ and I don't care, because they will just be pets/egg layers, but I hope they aren't too awful looking. Lol they...
