I am happy with the outcome nonetheless. I just processed my birds this weekend and finished with 142.75 pounds of whole chicken from 24 birds. Nice to have the freezer full for the winter.

Here are my birds from Purely Poultry. They are just over 6 weeks in this photo. Average weight is 5.2 lbs. I lost one bird on day 2 and had to cull one at 4 weeks due to an injury, otherwise they are growing about 1.25 lbs a week in weight and are all in good shape. Pardon the photo quality...
