We use a homemade PVC feeder and works really well for pellets. All it is 4" pvc cut to how ever long you want with a 90 and a 45. Also later on since the chickens liked to pull feed on the ground with there beaks we added a 1/3 cut of a cap to make a stopper to keep them from dragging feed out...
