Thanks! I’ve just began setting up my breeding groups, couple eggs here and there from my bantam mixed flock, and I got a little brown egg from my bantam Brahma group yesterday.

No chicks yet from this year I did keep a pullet from last year and I believe also a cockerel. I’ll have to go back and look. I’ll also try to get updated pics of last year’s babies tomorrow.

Rooster- F1MF Hens-F2, there where 3 but the coon killed the other. I had to dub my roo and a few others after a very cold, cold snap.

Thought I’d share some numbers for 2023 58 chicks hatched 51% mottled 6% all white 6% heavy mottled or Piebald 17% buff Columbine 15% white with black dot on head 1% mottled with orange spot (These numbers don’t account for the decimals) Next update will be in February when I start breeding...

F1MF x F2- 3 weeks So far so good! Mottled, vulture hocks and feathered middle toe. I don’t think it’ll have leakage though bc all the ones that I have hatched with the Japanese mottled don’t have leakage
