So I personally leave my broodys totally alone.. if she needs a drink of water/food she will get off the nest and do so she knows what shes doing. I have my first rouen on eggs that she snuck and hid under a bunch of hay GRRR!! I don't usually allow mine to brood since they will be mixed...
