Results from nationals. The Judge, who I think is pretty good in OZ, said "nice bird" to the one I posted above. I think the tail is too long but he said the foundation are there.

Got a ribbon as best in class at a class. As I have to compete with more established breeds and colours, there were a number of birds in AOV . As we showers know it is hard for a blue to compete against other colours etc. So I must be doing something right...
She shows a bar, but she is a f1, She was breed from my mutant to a bared Roo, I think her head is ok her legs are yellow, but this washes out when she lays, her body shape has potential except for the tail. We will C what happens this hatching year

Agree, so did the show manager (who is a friend) just a matter of which, may take a shot gun approach and give 6 good hens/pullets. The problem in my mind is that he is so big I may have to give him hens as the pullets take a good 12 months to gain size. I have a couple of months to go before I...
