    Also, our roosts are branches or saplings, bark on, 2" to the rafters that are 4" fence posts. our bantams and standard birds all do fine on them! While prickers aren't good on roosts, bark is just fine, natural, and improves grip. Your avian vet may be totally into the management of parrots...
