This has definitely been our biggest challenge. The desire to learn MUST come from within. Inspiring that when it has been beaten from a child is... shall we say... monumentally difficult

I should keep a journal. When I look back to where we were when we came out of school (my first grader crying every single day and shoving my second grader into the school building...) I know we have come so far. And my girls love school and love learning now so I should stop looking at...

My husband and I really prayed a lot about homeschooling and definitely felt the call to do this. I need to have more faith that God knows what He is doing! Thano you for that. I know I feel this call so it can't be wrong.

My youngest Grace nearly died in January due to MSG intolerance. Specifically free glutamate as the additive. It is in EVERYTHING too. Ok, not in everything but a ton of foods.

I also want to note that I love New Jersey for homeschooling laws. Essentially I am as free as I can possibly be. I am free to educate my children in the very best way possible for them. It's fantastic. It is enough to keep us from wanting to move out of state, despite my husband's plant closing...
OK I decided to take a chance and jump in. Hi everyone :-) I homeschool my two school aged daughters aged 10 and 8. I also have a 3 year old son, a 1 year old daughter and a daughter due in November :-)
