I'm just saying you can't expect to buy these for $500-$900 a bird and sell their offspring for the same $$$. By the time you get chicks and grow them up, the price will have gone wayyyyy down. It is not a sound financial investment like diamonds or gold. They are just chickens.
Soon as enough people pay the big bucks for them, thinking they just made a super-genius investment for the future, the market will be flooded and the price will go way down. They will have a hard time getting rid of all their extra birds even at $10 a piece. It's only a matter of time before...
I'll be danged if I'm gonna pay $200 for a night's dinner! I can get a good table bird for $3-$5. To eat a bird that goes for that much is like eating a cash salad.
