    I would keep the chickens away from the bird feeder, they can catch disease from birds. I would not spray poison under the bird feeder, could sicken or kill the chickens or birds. I feed feather fixer as sole ration sense 18 weeks to my 29 week old girls. Says on bag you can feed year round. GC

    I switched my sex-links at sixteen weeks and got my first egg at 4 months to the day. I use it because I wanted 18% protein in a layers. It's the only brand locally with 18% in a layers feed.
