I'll go out tomorrow and try to get some shots. One of my guys is in post 321 in this thread. Just a few posts back. He's a lot more mahogany than the picture shows. He was sitting in bright light.

I've noticed this as well. I have three roos all from Greenfire and all three a different in their coloring. Only one is the deep mahogany. One is more white. One is stunningly red. All three gorgeous though.

Wow, I'm surprised there are no signs yet. I've pretty much resigned myself to waiting for Spring with mine. Good luck with your girls!

They are white with a pinkish undertone. Their skin in also white. I checked beneath the feathers. They do have a bit of yellow around the eyelids and the top skin on the base of the beak. I assume these are all areas that will turn deep pink as they become mature. The beak itself is not yellow...

Got them from Bryce at Ewe Crazy Farm and he got his stock from Greenfire. I took the pics at night with a heat lamp on so that probably accounts for the yellow. Thanks they are really pretty chicks.

One of my pretty girls. Two of my girls with a handsome boy in the center. One of my boys. These were taken at 5 1/2 weeks by the way. Hope this helps.

Just saw this thread and popped in. This one looks like all my girls. They all feathered significantly earlier than the boys and look just like this. My boys were much slower to feather, had a lot more white, and larger combs and wattles early on. Hope that helps. Mine are GFF by the way.
