Thanks for the explanation. I guess I should have checked the Purina ingredients before asking. The feeds I've been using have a lot of added microorganisms.
I've seen that many chicken feeds contain "fermentation product". Is it possible that's what caused the TAC to be high? Or that it could possibly have been some sort of beneficial bacteria or probiotics?
*Disclaimer - Just curious, I'm thoroughly convinced the feed is/was not contaminated in...
It seems like the Producers Pride is just an overall lower grade feed. It's a cheap feed that meets the minimum standards but that's about it. Probably why the chickens don't find it particularly appealing. It's the Kibbles and Bits of the chicken feed world.
Hopefully @U_Stormcrow will come by and interpret those FCU results. I see that TAC is Total Aerobic Count but I assume it's unspecified as to what exactly it is? But it's not coliforms, e-coli, salmonella, or YM (yeast?) ?
Clicks, the more he hypes it up with the "double the glyphosate" and the longer he draws it out, the more traffic he gets on his site from people checking for the results.
According to his Health Ranger Report situation update -
the Dumor Organic had 0 glyphosate
the Natures Best Organic had 1.8 PPB
He is still saying that Producers Pride had twice as much glyphosate as the others but is not revealing those numbers. We have to wait until maybe next week when he...

I'm not sure I would trust anything Mike Adams "the health ranger" has to say. He's not exactly considered to be a credible source of factual information.
I think I'll wait for @Aunt Angus's results.
I think maybe you are just missing the connection?
You cannot have antibodies without exposure, antibodies are the body's response to coming into contact with a pathogen.
In this case they are exposing the hen's body to covid and collecting the antibodies she produces via her eggs. We harvest...
Sorry, I didn't even read it to be honest. It's a well known technique used to create antibodies for vaccines. The hens would have to be exposed to covid first in order to be able to produce the necessary antibodies.
I'm saying that this is a technique used to create antibodies for multiple different diseases. They inoculate the hens with a pathogen and then she passes down antibodies through the egg yolk. A random egg yolk would not protect you against covid.
