Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

Yes. I have a method. I cover the cage with an old blanket. Once the skunk calms down, I return and wrap the cage in the blanket. The skunk isn't so scared if it can't see me. Then I put the cage into a large black plastic bag (unsealed) and tie the cage to the top of my car. The bag serves...

Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

Thank you. I used honey from my own hive. I didn't pasteurize it. It just slowly dripped out of the comb.

Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

I had a tenant with a dog for a year. The dog took care of all the predators. They moved away. This skunk is probably the baby of the skunk that attacked Horace. I wish it would have gotten trapped in the smaller cage. At least it has a full belly. Skunks are so cute! Now I will have to...

Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

After applying the Smile's PRID, the wound healing accelerated. PRID really sticks on! Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

Horace is a mix of Pekin, Rouen, and Swedish Blue. She looks like her mother, the Rouen, but is as large as a Pekin, lays jumbo eggs, and has 2 white flight feathers like her grandpa, the Swedish Blue. Last night her lumbar area looked like a bloody mess. The wound is about 3in wide and 4in...

Duck Emergency - Attack Wounds (Graffic Pics)

I don't know who did this to her, but my duck was found stuck in the pond too weak to get out, and the other ducks were pecking her bloody back. She was too weak to be frightened out of the pond. I had to rescue her. I will try applying honey to the wound tomorrow.
