~Hawk Claw shot to his paws and immediately flipped on to his back in startled submission. "Sorry, Alpha," he murmured, already stinking away to recruit some hunters. "Where do you want us to go?"~ ~Ash Storm's flame-eyes glowed. "Now what is the one thing you NEVER do in battle?"~

~Lightning Claw wandered around the old Hidden Pack territory, his mind completely on his heritage.~ ~Hawk Claw snoozed in camp.~ ~Ash Storm was discussing battle tactics to some younger wolves.~

~"I liked it too," Ash Storm replied sadly, then set off after her friend with her furred prey.~

~Ash Storm's eyes almost narrowed, but then she realized River Rush was still being full of levity. "We should get back," Ash Storm abruptly barked, ears pricked and expectant for the sound of any pawsteps... "Dark Blood doesn't like dawdling."~

~"Then how come you aren't a Beta?" Ash Storm inquired cheekily, her eyes flaming with laughter.~

~Ash Storm flicked her tail up in amusement. "Yeah, well, I'd like to see you pull down rabbits!!"~

~Ash Storm gave a feigned pout and presented her mink, rabbit, and fat frog. "It's less than yours," she teased, "but harder work."~

~Snagging a stray bullfrog easily on the way back, Ash Storm returned to River Rush with her catch, tail held high in satisfied pleasure.~

~Ash Storm patiently followed the trail of a weasel, nostrils flaring. She came upon the lithe creature, darting between the bogs. Ash Storm carefully slunk after it, imitating its smooth creeping, and, at the right moment, slapped down a massive paw, instantaneously snapping its spine. What...

~Ash Storm bolted right up to a fleeing rabbit and, to her utter amazement, actually succeeded to pin one down and snap its spine. She allowed herself a small smirk of satisfaction as the tang of blood filled her nostrils.~

~Ash Storm jolted into high gear as a trio of rabbits bolted across the boggy grass. She fell low into her haunches as she ran, knowing perfectly well that this was not a perfected tatic, but doing it anyway.~

~Ash Storm dipped her head, exhilarated by the enigmatic moor. "It sure is," she murmured and loped off into the fog with log strides. "Catch you later- with my catch!"~

~Ash Storm set off at a brisk trot with River Rush. She hurdled a few meandering streams before they ended up in the wide moors of Rushing Pack. "Here we are," Ash Storm breathed, still in awe of the peaceful expanse of foggy moors.~

~Ash Storm shook her head dismissively. "No, that's fine," she woofed, careful to keep her voice out of range of Dark Blood's ears. "I completely understand. Let's go."~

(Cool! Here, how about after Ashstripe heals it, come have Willowstar tear him away from the Medicine cat den to talk with him about his earlier actions.... unless you have to go again right now???)
