    No, if a hen goes broody and their is no rooster they will not hatch. A rooster will have to mate a hen so the eggs are fertile then they will hatch.

    I don't think australorps are as likely to go broody as other breeds. Barred rocks don't occasionally go broody, Neither do speckled sussexes.

    Yes! australorps are great birds!! Their eggs have a richer taste than other breeds! They are so lovable! I have one.
