    2 months after my neighbors sent us shot of an orange bobcat across the street I got a glimpse of it on the hill behind us where some of my chickens free range. The only thing saved mine was I locked them up.

    I Yes Florida has the grey and red both.They are very intelligent predators that put their safety above eating your chickens so you'll rarely see one.     Sorry but I would only let them out if when you're going to be outside to watch them. Whatever got the others will be back for the rest. I almost lost one recently to a bobcat so until I can make some improvements on my fencing my chickens will have to live with being locked up so no more free...
