@BUTCH53 Welcome to BYC. I am not sure if one breed of geese would be better than another for living in the high desert, Mainly make sure they have plenty of shade and water to bath in in summer. They do like to graze grass but I live in the mountains of NC and haven't hardly any grass and...- Miss Lydia
