It’s very hard to lose any of our precious pets.
I have a senior dog too14.5 yrs now. I hope we can keep him healthy for quite sometime still. Yours too, they are family♥️
I am so sorry you lost him. :hugs
I doubt very much if it's your fault you were doing everything you could to help him. He just had too much going on for his body to get over it.
Please don't blame yourself. I am so sorry we couldn't do more to help.
Maybe this will help. do you wrap him in a towel like a burrito to keep him calm?

Thanks for updating. I sure hope the antibiotics will get him through this. You can use VetRX too if he seems to be having any difficulity breathing it is similar to vicks rub for us humans. but it's liquid so I swipe it across their nares with a cotton ball so it doesn't actually run down into...

I would let him have water therapy a couple times a day to get his legs moving and get the circulation going. Having him do some water therapy would be easier than forcing him to get up and move. Is he eating?
Poultry cell, if you decide to use the activated charcoal get the capsules then just open it up and add to his water via instructions on the info I gave you.
Def get the poultry cell into him. here is how to administer safely.

If you suspect toxin here is the info on that...
Of course they pick up on one off. And it’s their duty to run it off so the hurt sick etc won’t draw in a predator. Since you’re seeing weak legs I suggest you go for liquid BComplex and start him on it ASAP. It may not be a niacin def but since his legs are weak and he’s not eating much the b...
