    Then I would leave her be. If she appears to be comfortable, mobile, and has an appetite and a thirst, perhaps she just needs some time. Do you have any idea what breed she is? She kinda looks like a CornishX. MrsB

    I would suspect "mushy chick disease" or omphalitis... It's an infection of the yolk sac. I applaud your want to help, but I'm unsure what can be done. How old is this chick? MrsB
