Someone posted on another thread that they put the snap traps in a wooden box with little holes so the mice could get in, but the chickens were safe from the trap. You could also use the plastic bait station type like the pros use where mice can get in but not out.

Hi! I've not heard that. Interesting! Keen sense of smell is not a chicken attribute. I wouldn't think a chicken would ever associate a urine odor with a predator. I'm curious to hear if it works!
