Heard a funny "old folks" moment yesterday -
My nephew, 18, has formed this funny "odd couple" sort of bond with my Uncle Charlie. Uncle Charlie is 75, widowed and lives on his cattle operation in a tiny town with a population of 36 people in the middle of nowhere in Idaho.
So, nephew went to...
Breathing is important, always make time for that!
Oooh, is it the one that they have at TSC? I was so afraid I was going to wind up with that the first year they had them right around mothers day:oops:
Lol, congrats?
Well, to be fair, the step of introducing oneself to a room full of strangers is trophy worthy for some....
Oh my!
You are awesome to be working so hard at this, thank you!
I suspect that day may be coming for me. ..have to say I'm less bothered by the idea since learning my...
Well, thank you all for making room for one more!
Yay for your successful hatch -- they are so tiny and cute! :fl for mama-to-be - that takes "baby shower" to a whole new level.....
Oh, Bunny, I am so sorry......situations like that have such an impact on the whole community, especially...
I will say, though, that the only thing that gets me is the abscess draining -- I can do blood, guts, organs, open wounds -- but the crap that comes out of some abscesses just......NO!
Love, Love, LOVE Dr. Pol -- I like the fact that they show everything, the watered down version that is on network Saturday morning programing does a lot of blurring over things, which kind of defeats the purpose, ya know?

LOL - thats one heck of a nap! I made the mistake of letting myself drift off about 8 last night, had a 20 minute power nap and woke up WIDE AWAKE and rearing to go, drives DH nuts when I do that.
To the bolded -- ah, yes, the "coffee drinkers table" - every small town cafe has one. I grew...
Had to smile at the fish tank comment - not even fully unpacked and settled into this house (mostly DH's crap that isn't unpacked yet - so that's not really on me, lol) and I keep finding myself looking at listings for tanks and checking out all the area fish stores, just itching to get one up...
Oh, it's just wonderful!!! Congratulations. I hope things move along for you - such a frustrating process, especially when you are already going to be out of the house you are in now and would really like to get in and get settled.
WooHoo!!!!! Safe travels!
LOL - made me think of this (I so need to get this for my husband)
Animal Rights folks tend to become blinded to the big picture of things sometimes - and end up creating a worse problem than the "issue" they think they are addressing to begin with, and this is a prime example of that.
