Trying to keep it all self contained because at my last house I kept my feed in the garage but no garage at this property so I got a little storage area made for my feed can and one shelf made for odds and ends. There will be one more shelf the same size right below the first as well as another...
Well of course I can never remember all the things I need to put so I had to move some perches to make room for the trap and aviary entrance. Also turning my poop door into an outside access water area but will still be able to open it up to scrape through. Pretty happy with how it is coming out...
Got ice and water on the roof along with drip edge and shingles will be going on tomorrow. Finished up my sliding door and should be able to grab the last few sheets of plywood by the weekend to get it closed up.
Thank you! I’m planning on getting the plastic fronts from foys as they are the most cost effective as well as doing a little bit larger nest box than I had last time to fit the fronts so should be around 15”x25” each and hoping for 12 of them
So we ended up moving again due to a really bad school system for our kids and I didn’t have enough time to remove the old loft so it is time to build a new one. Sadly have to do a bit smaller on this one but hoping it has some better features than the other. My old one was 6x10 with 2 sections...
