I'm honestly not convinced that I would depend only on pumpkins for deworming. I'd think storing them in the freezer would be fine though.

cut the pumpkin into chunks and toss em into the pen or yard. I plan on going to stores and market stands and asking to have any pumpkins they have left right after halloween. Yum Yum!
