    It's is so hard to wait! However, sometimes it's worth it. I just realized to day that what I thought was a black cochin is actually a birchen. I thought it was a little different than the others, but it took a bit for the white lacing to show up around the neck.

    I would be thrilled with a porcelain or a self-blue d'uccle. Pullet or cockerel, either way. I was hoping to get a few d'uccles in this assortment from Ideal, but so far it's proven to be almost 100% Cochin. Lots of color variety, but not so much breed variety. We have a trio of Millies...

    This blue baby has been dubbed Dovey. I'm just not 100% sure of the breed.
