For a day or two this time of year a protein boost shouldn’t be a problem and probably a net positive, so I’d let them eat their fill. My flock of 50+ just got the carcasses from a fundraiser turkey dinner…5 carcasses that had been 113 lbs of turkey before the humans had at it. Happy birds!
