You're welcome - it all came together for our 8 girls :) When I 1st decided we were going to do this , I really scoured the www for process stories to understand things and then said we would do the same for someone else wanting to try. Glad you found it interesting :)

hahaha - the kids were a huge help building the coop! Architect Dad had them doing things they didn't understand at first but they kept with it and achieved our goal :) Thank you for the complement - the family worked hard together to get 'er done .

Finished up the coop with nesting boxes and a little "brand".

Installed our poop-board today. Going to start on the final thing tonight - nesting boxes.

Glad you found it useful . We're working on the hen-house door right now / picked up our corrugated metal roof package and still need to make the nesting boxes and the main coop dutch-door. We'll have more to post :)

Thanks a bunch - we're very close to completing. Now that we have the babies, our time has been spread thinner. Almost complete.

Construction photos update from 4/16/14:

This is a version of the Wichita Cabin coop - I've seen samples of the Garden coop (very similar) - I love it so far. the chicks will be one week old tomorrow and they will move out to the coop in about 5-6 weeks. Trying to finish this up this week ! Will keep posting until we're done :)
