Can anyone tell me if wood shavings are ok to put in the chicken run? The chickens are scratching all the dirt away! If they eat it will it be harmful?

The expiry date is 2016. But it was definitely working. Maybe because it has been hot and I had this out in the garage which is fairly cool but not air conditioned.

Question regarding ACV. I have the organic kind with tge mother in it but nowhere on the bottle does it say to refrigerate after opening. I didn't and now it smells like it's working. I mean like it's turning. Is it still ok to put in water for chickens? Should bottle be put in frig after...
