Yep, the pied barreds have some patches of darker color in the yellow & the "mallard" markings in the eye & wing are the tell on them. I've never had a solid colored barred, just the pied barreds.
I have never had 1 change colors on me like that, but all of my barreds have also been pied. Maybe that is the difference. The ones in the OP are also pied with 2 being barred pied, that's how I recognized the color pattern.

All are pied, but the 2 with eye stripes are also barred. You can have both patterns on the same bird. You have 2 chocolate pied & 2 barred chocolate pied.
