A&Ms are coturnix. They are just a white color phase of coturnix. Coturnix are bred in many colors and patterns like silver, pharaoh (also called brown or wild), tuxedo, Tibetan, and others. Stellar Game Birds has a good web page that shows what the different colors of coturnix look like.
