"Ground drive" comes in various forms, both with motors and without.
What is the exact point then?
Does the horse supply the power to run a mower unit? Some kind of
gear driven reduction system?

"Ground Drive" appears to be a term referring to the ability of a the operator
to be in control of the object from a distance. In the instance of this cart you're
asking about, to me it refers to the LEGENTH of the drawbar...
